Parish Events and News Copyright St Simon Stock Catholic Church 2010 St Simon Stock Catholic Church, South Ashford Candlemas, 2nd February 2012, blessing of Candles at the 9:30 Mass There will be blessing of candles and processions this day to celebrate the feast of the presentation of the Lord.   Friday 3rd February Feast of St Blaise  As is tradition we shall have blessing of throat after mass on Friday after the school mass at 9:30 and the evening mass at 6:30pm   Confirmation 2012.  Started on the 27th of January. If you are in the year 8 or above please speak to Fr. Neil and come along for the meetings which take place on Friday evenings at 6:00pm.   We celebrate our Jubilee, year this  year. The Archbishop will be  coming to celebrate mass here on  the 26th of May at 11:30. Please  put the date in your diary. As this is  a great feast for all parishioners.
